AVP plates are at least three times more effective at dampening than cord or solid rubber plates. This is made possible by the use of a special composite material between the layers of rubber. In order to prevent movements due to vibration, the corrugated rubber plates are attached in opposite directions. The composite material used makes the AVP plates much more durable than e.g. cork, as oils, chemicals and moisture do not affect its quality.
