The speed controller for air-cooled condensers records pressure changes in the refrigeration circuit and directly modified the motor speed based upon the refrigerant pressure. Phase angle-control (TRIAC) provides low loss and fully variable speed control. They are suitable for use with single-phase motors with start-up and operating capacitors or split motors where the manufacturer has approved the motor for use with speed regulation devices with a current draw of max. 4 amps.
